PERRIN DUNN

I am originally from the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I moved to Wales to pursue a career in scenic construction via university. I found a passion for metal fabrication in the process and have worked in the industry primarily in that role for the past three years.

Since moving here I have made connections with living history museums and heritage craftspeople as I am deeply inspired by the skills that connect us to our past. I am a mixed media artist but find myself more drawn to calling myself a craftsman since art and artist are wobbly in their definition. Regardless my love of what I do whether its carpentry, welding, spinning or painting, its less about the end result (though we do get there) its about the journey to get there.
